Veneers
A veneer is a thin layer of either porcelain or resin material used mainly to improve the aesthetics of a tooth.
Resin veneers are placed directly in the mouth. The are placed in one visit, less expensive than porcelain, but have a greater tendency to stain and chip.
Porcelain veneers require two visits, as they are made in a laboratory and cemented on the second visit. However, they provide a stronger, long-lasting superior appearance.
Veneers can be used to treat chipped, discoloured, misaligned or misshapen teeth or gaps.
